Srinagar, April 26(GNS): Police on Saturday apprehended two suspects along with arms and ammunition at Adigam Devsar area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
A senior police officer told GNS that on a specific information, police along with security forces during searches arrested two persons near Adigam Devsar crossing. They have been identified as Mudasir Ahmad Sheikh(37) son of Bashir Ahmad Sheikh and Mudasir Ahmad Lone(34) son of Ghulam Ahmad Lone both residents of Sopat Tangpora Devsar.
From there possession one pistol, one pistol magazine, ten rounds of pistol, one grenade, one AK magazine and ten rounds of AK rifle were recovered.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.(GNS)
