Jammu, July 29 (KAT): Amid inclement weather, Government on Wednesday morning announced closure of all government and private schools in Kishtwar & Doda districts on July 29 2026.
According to an order issued by Chief Education Officer Kishtwar, "InDue to continuous heavy rainfall, slippery roads, and safety concerns, all Government and Private Schools in District Doda and most parts of District Kishtwar shall remain closed today (29 July 2026).
However, schools closed in Doda , online classes will continue as per the prescribed schedule.
Kishtwar: Schools remain closed except those falling within Kishtwar City (Malipeth to Cherhar area), which will remain open.
The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students and staff.(KAT)
