Srinagar, April 27 (KAT): A 13-year-old boy lost his life after being struck in the neck by a cricket ball while playing in Kunzer area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports reaching Kashmir Abb Tak said that the boy identified as Shahzaib Muzaffar Shah, while he was playing cricket with his friends when a ball accidentally hit him in the neck.
Eyewitnesses said he immediately collapsed on the ground, prompting an urgent rush to a nearby hospital. However, despite all efforts, doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Authorities have taken note of the incident, and further proceedings have been initiated.(KAT)
