Pakistan, 22 March 2023,(KAT) : the Ruw’at e Hilal committee in Pakistan has declared that the crescent moon indicating the start of Ramadan 2023 was not sighted anywhere in the country. As a result, it is expected that the first day of Ramadan 2023 will be on March 24, 2023.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is considered one of the most important months for Muslims. During this month, Muslims around the world observe a month-long period of fasting, increased devotion to worship, and spiritual reflection.
