Srinagar, September 30 (KAT): Top Lashkar-i-Toiba Commander Fouzi Mussa were killed in a gunfight at Koreg area of Yusmarg in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday.
A top police officer told Kashmir Abb Tak that top let militant were killed in a gunfight in Budgam.
Fouzi Mussa was one of the oldest surviving militant and was active past few years, the top cop said.
It's a major break through for police and security forces as Mussa was wanted in many militancy cases, the top added.
Earlier, a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Koreg. During Searches contact was established with the hiding militants, triggering off a gunfight.(KAT)
