Srinagar, July 23 (KAT): The massive search operation entered its second day following a yesterday terror attack in Anantnag that resulted in the tragic killing of a Jammu and Kashmir Police Head Constable.
Reports reaching Kashmir Abb Tak said that a search operation launched by joint security grid comprising the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the Indian Army, and the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
Yesterday, terrorists opened fire on a police party which deployed near Lal Chowk in Anantnag town, causing fatal injuries to Head Constable Aashiq Hussain, later doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, reinforcements have been deployed to strengthen the cordon and track down the terrorists, the officials said.
