Srinagar, October 5 (KAT): An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 struck Kabul, Afghanistan, the National Centre of Seismology (NCS) said.
Reports reaching Kashmir Abb Tak said that the earthquake occurred at 01:57:24 pm at a depth of 220 kilometres in Kabul, Afghanistan, it said.
“EQ of M: 4.9, On: 05/10/2026 01:57:24 IST, Lat: 36.602 N, Long: 71.084 E, Depth: 220 Km, Location: Kabul, Dushanbe Afghanistan, Islamabad, Pakistan, Gulmarg & Srinagar Jammu and Kashmir," it said.(KAT)
