KPDCL Announced Power Shutdown For Maintenance - Check Areas & Dates


Srinagar, May 17 (KAT): The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a temporary power shutdown in various areas to facilitate infrastructure upgradation and maintenance work.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the 33kV Nehalpora Pattan-Amargarh Line will remain shut on May 17, 2026, from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM, this will affect power supply to Pattan, Palhalan, Nehalpora, Hanjwera, Trama, Hamray, Tapper, Waringam, Lolipora, Cold Store, Hyderbeigh, Flour Mill, North End Hospital, Railway, Hamray and adjoining areas. 

Similarly, the 33kV Nehalpora HMT line will remain shut on May 18, 20 & 25, 2026, from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM, affecting power supply to Kalsari, Singhpora, Duslipora, SKUAST, SSM, Mirgund, Ramilgarh, Shadipora and adjoining areas. 

Likewise, the 33kV Delina Wagoora line will remain shut on May 19 & 21, 2026, from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM, affecting power supply to Wagoora, Kawcheck, Mangam, Watergam, Kreeri, Saloosa, Hospital, Sangrama, Nowpora, Boosu, Cold Store and adjoining areas. 

Additionally, the 33kV Delina Kreeri Tapline will remain shut on May 21 & 25, 2026, from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM, affecting power supply to Kreeri, Saloosa, Hospital and adjoining areas. 

Authorities have urged residents to make necessary arrangements in advance to mitigate inconvenience during the scheduled outages.(KAT)
