Srinagar, February 22 (KAT): All government and recognised private schools in Jammu and Kashmir divisions are set to reopen on tomorrow, February 23 2026 and resume routine class work and other activities.
As per an order, in which lies with KAT, After long winter break, Classes from 9th to 12th standard will resume from 23rd February 2026, while classes from pre-primary to 8th will resume from 28th February 2026.
Earlier, All schools up to class 8th were closed from December 1, 2025, while the classes from 9th to 12th standard were closed for winter vacations from December 11, 2025.
Moreover, Schools in Srinagar Municipal limits to function from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, schools outside Srinagar municipal limits including Jammu division from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm.(KAT)
