Srinagar, February 12 (KAT): All government and recognised private schools in the Kashmir division are set to reopen on February 20 2026 and resume routine class work and other activities.
As per an order, in which lies with KAT, After long winter break, Classes from 9th to 12th standard will reopen from 20th February 2026, while classes from pre-primary to 8th will reopen from 28th February 2026.
The schools will reopen after a gap in winter vacation announced by the government in November last year.
Earlier, All schools up to class 8th were closed from December 1, 2025, while the classes from 9th to 12th standard were closed for winter vacations from December 11, 2025.
All teachers have been directed to report back to their respective schools on February 20, 2026.(KAT)
