Kishtwar Encounter Enters 2nd Day, Operation Underway

Jammu, January 19 (KAT): Fresh firing resumes again between militants and security forces after night lull in Singhpora forest area in Kishtwar district on Monday early morning. 

Reports reaching Kashmir Abb Tak said that operation was suspended throughout night and has been resumed with the first light of this morning.

Yesterday, fierce gunfight erupted between militants and security forces in Singhpora forest area after forces recieved specific input about the presence of some militants in the area.

Till this report was being filed, eight army soldiers were injured.
