Srinagar, May 7 (KAT): A girl was found dead near Vailoo Kokernag bridge in Anantnag district officals said on wednesday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Abb Tak said that a body of a girl was found this evening near a bridge. Locals immediately informed the police about the body. Soon, police took the body in their possession and shifted it to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The deceased has been identified as Insha Tariq resident of Magam Kokernag. She was jumped in river on yesterday, they said.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.(KAT)
