Srinagar, Aug 14: An army officer has been killed in an ongoing gunfight in the Assar area of the Jammu's Patnitop area, Army said Wednesday.
The army said that the officer was killed & one civilian also injured during a search operation in the area even as they have recovered "war like stores" from the spot.
The killed officer as per sources has been identified as Captain Deepak.
