Srinagar, 2 January 2023,(KAT) : River Police on Monday recovered the dead body of a septuagenarian man from the river Jehlum in Srinagar.
Reports reaching—(Kashmir Abb Tak) that the dead body was retrieved between Budshah Bridge and Amirakadal.
The deceased person has been identified as 70-year-old Ghulam Muhammad Bhat, a resident of Rambagh who had gone missing on 26 December last month.
After the medico-legal formalities, police handed over the body to the family. Police in this regard have registered a case under relevant sections of law—(KAT)
