Srinagar, Jan 31 (KLU): Eleven travelers and a paramilitary CRPF trooper were among 57 fresh covid-19 cases reported even as no death due to the virus took place in the last 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Sunday.
They said that 14 cases were from Jammu Division and 43 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total case tally in J&K to 124506.
Giving the district-wise details, the officials told GNS that Srinagar reported 27 cases, Baramulla 3, Budgam 2, Pulwama 1, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 3, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 5, Kulgam 1, Shopian 0, Jammu 7, Udhampur 2, Rajouri 0, Doda 3, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 1, Poonch 0, Ramban 1 and Reasi 0.
A number of these cases were confirmed at the diagnostic laboratory of SKIMS Soura and GMC Anantnag, they said.
The SKIMS cases include female (30) from Bun Makhama Budgam, male (41) from SDH Magam, female (35) from Soibugh, female (65) from Nowgam Bye Pass Budgam, male (48) from 75 Bn CRPF Indra Nagar Srinagar, female (54) from Tulamulla Ganderbal, female (55) from Ariguripora Ganderbal, male (45) from Kandi Kupwara, female (50) from Halmatpora Kupwara, male (47) from Mustafabad Zainakote Srinagar, male (30) from Check Shopian and male (78) from Wakipora Anantnag.
The GMC Anantnag cases include male (25) from Manloo, male (73) from Nagbal.
Meanwhile, 70 more Covid-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—36 from Jammu Division and 34 from Kashmir Valley.
With this, the number of patients who recovered rose to 121822— 50664 in Jammu and 71158 in Kashmir. So far, 1936 people have died due to the virus— 721 from Jammu and 1215 from Kashmir. The number of active cases stands at 748— 168 in Jammu and 580 in the Valley, they added_(KLU).
