Earthquake of Magnitude 5.6 Strikes Afghanistan, Tremors Felt Across Kashmir


Srinagar, April 18 (KAT): An earthquake of magnitude 5.6 struck Kabul,, Afghanistan, the National Centre of Seismology (NCS) said.

The earthquake occurred at 08:24:17 am at a depth of 170 kilometres in Kabul, Afghanistan, it said.

“EQ of M: 5.6, On: 18/04/2026 08:24:17 IST, Lat: 36.452 N, Long: 70.789 E, Depth: 170 Km, Location: Kabul, Dushanbe Afghanistan, Islamabad, Pakistan, Gulmarg & Srinagar Jammu and Kashmir," it said.(KAT)
