Srinagar, March 20 (KAT): Atleast nine passengers were injured in a road accident at Nepora area of Qazigund in South Kashmir's Kulgam district on Thursday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Abb Tak that a tempo bearing registration number PB01B7720 coming from Jammu towards Kashmir, the driver lost its control over the vehicle and met with an accident near grid station Nepora.
In the incident nine passengers were injured who were shifted to GMC Anantnag for treatment, where all injured condition is stated to be stable.
The injured have been identified as Vikram Kumar (39 years), son of Deva Ram, resident of Rajasthan, Avala Krishna Chaitanya (28 years), son of Avala Bala Nagendra Krishna Murthy, resident of Andhra Pradesh, Aftab (46 years), son of Mohd Vaseen Saray, resident of Uttar Pradesh, Shanbo (38 years), son of Vakano, resident of Mumbai, Khota (38 years), son of Maiy Ram, resident of Rajasthan. Ramlal (40 years), son of Shamlal, resident of Mumbai, Vabak Kumar (39 years), son of Vinod Kumar, resident of Mumbai. Anil Kumar (34 years), son of Ray Kumar, resident of Kalwa, Mumbai. Rahul (35 years), son of Rashpal, resident of Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been takenup.(KAT)
