Baramulla, October 24 (KAT): Encounter broke out between militants and security forces near LoC in Bothapathr Gulmarg area in North Kashmir's Baramulla district on Thursday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Abb Tak said that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in the area.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
A senior police officer confirmed to about exchange of firing between militants and security forces.(KAT)
