SP Sopore Smt. Divya D, IPS along with ADC Sopore and CAPF nodal officers conducted a comprehensive briefing session at SKAUST Wadoora, in view of upcoming Legislative Assembly Elections.
The briefing was held inorder to make the officials involved in election duty aware about the guidelines of Election Commission of India to be followed during the entire electoral process. They were also briefed to ensure coordination among them so that hassle-free conduct of elections is ensured.
Further, SP Sopore encouraged all the officials to perform their duties with utmost sincerity and impartiality. She also emphasized all officials to facilitate people in exercising their constitutional right to vote and also in celebrating the festival of democracy.
SP Sopore further reiterated that the Team Sopore has made all the preparations to ensure free, fair, incident free and peaceful elections.
