Jammu-Srinagar highway closed due to landslide at Hingni

Srinagar, 20 April 2023,(KAT) : Jammu-Srinagar Highway was closed for traffic movement due to a major landslide in Hingni area.

Reports reaching—(Kashmir Abb Tak) that "NH-44 blocked due to landslide at hingni, Nachlana. People are advised to undertake journey after confirmation from TCUs." Jammu and Kashmir Traffic police said.

It said that the clearance work of the highway – the lifeline of the Kashmir Valley and the main road link connecting it with the rest of the country is underway—(KAT)
