JKSSB Select Lists For The Post Of Junior Engineer - Check Here


The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board recently released a notice about the selection lists for the position of Junior Engineer (Civil) in the Works (R&B) Department. The position was advertised in Notification No.05 of 2020, under Item No.130. The notice specifically pertains to the release of withheld recommendations.


In reference to a letter from this office (No.SSB/Secy/Sel/2022/566-75) dated August 3rd, 2022, concerning the aforementioned subject, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that the Selection List for the aforementioned position was forwarded to your department for further action. The position is for Junior Engineer (Civil) in the Public Works Division (R&B) Department, Cadre, Kashmir, advertised under Notification No.05 of 2020, dated December 24th, 2020, under Item No.130.


One of the selected candidates, Murtaza Manzoor, who was listed at Sr. No.15/RBA-130, had his recommendation withheld because there were some clarifications needed regarding his documents. However, the required documents have now been submitted by the candidate, and his case was presented in the 218th Board meeting. The Board has decided to release the recommendation that was withheld for Mr. Murtaza Manzoor.


As a result, I have been instructed to inform you of the Board’s decision to release the recommendation in favor of Mr. Murtaza Manzoor for the position of Junior Engineer (Civil) in the Public Works (R&B) Department, Division Cadre, Kashmir. This position was advertised under Notification No.05 of 2020 dated 24.12.2020, Item No.130. The other terms and conditions that were communicated to you in our previous letter (No. SSB/Secy/Sel/2022/566-75 dated 03.08.2022) will remain the same. You can verify this information on our website www.JKssb.nic.in if required.


The document verification/scrutiny conducted by the Board is limited to the physical possession of the category/degree certificates mentioned in the advertised notification. It is the responsibility of the appointing authority to verify the genuineness and validity of these certificates.


In the event that any certificate or document is found to be fake or fictitious during the verification process, the Board should be notified immediately, and appropriate criminal proceedings should be initiated against the candidate in question.


Furthermore, as per Government Order No.1003-JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 27.09.2021, candidates whose recommendations are released by the Selection Agency must submit their verification rolls in triplicate to the appointing authority within 21 days of its release. Failure to do so will result in the candidate forfeiting their right to appointment.
