Baramulla, 27 February 2023,(KAT) : Police under the supervision of Sh Sajjad Bukhari-JKPS DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by Inspr Waseem Jahangir, SHO PS Sheeri arrested Drug Peddler namely 1. Ishfaq Ahmad Mir S/O Ghulam Hassan Mir R/O Chijhama Rafiabad 2. Ashiq Hussain Najar S/O Altaf Hussain Najar R/O Shougpora 3. Reyaz Ahmad Sheikh S/O Ghulam Ahmad R/O Dardpora Kupwara A/P Rangwar Baramulla during naka checking at NHW Gantamulla
During their personal search 22 grams contraband Brown Sugar like substance was recovered and were taken into custody immediately.
Cases under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Sheeri and investigations set in motion.
General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship—(KAT)
