Pattan, 18 February 2023,(KAT) : 2 Drug Peddlers arrested; 5 Kgs & 300 grams of contraband Poppy Straw like substance recovered at Jheel Bridge Singhpora Pattan; Case registered; Vehicle seized.
Police under the supervision of Sh Mohd Nawaz-JKPS, SDPO Pattan assisted by PSI Zilal Ahmad, IC PP Mirgund arrested 2 Drug Peddlers namely Waheed Ahmad Bhat S/O Gh Mohiuddin & Owais Bashir Shikari S/O Bashir Ahmad residents of Sher Colony Sopore who were travelling in a Load Carrier bearing registration JK01T-8427 and we're intercepted during naka checking at Jheel Bridge Singhpora Pattan.
During the search 5 Kgs & 300 grams of contraband Poppy Straw like substance was recovered from them and were taken into custody immediately. The said vehicle has also been seized—(KAT)
