Srinagar, 16 March 2022,(KAT) : Encounter started between militants and security forces in Nowgam are of Central Kashmir's Srinagar district on Wednesday.
Reports Reaching—(Kashmir Abb Tak) that a joint team of Police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Nowgam.
As the joint team of forces encircled the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
A senior police officer also confirmed about exchange of firing between militants and security forces—(KAT)
