Srinagar, 18 September 2021,(KAT) : BJP leader and General Secretary ST Morcha Ganderbal Shamas-un-Nahaar on Saturday joined Apni Party at its Central office in M2 Church Lane, Sonawar.
The joining ceremony took place in presence of Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari.
Besides, Apni Party Provincial President Women Wing Dilshad Shaheen was also present on the occasion.
Welcoming the new entrant into the part-fold, Bukhari expressed that women folk have always played an important role in shaping the future of world societies and Apni Party strongly believes in women empowerment.
"Apni Party has always worked for the welfare of women in Jammu and Kashmir and it's women cadres have always amplified the suppressed voices. We firmly believe that women must represent and participate in every field especially politics where traditionally they have always left out," he said.
Bukhari impressed on the new entrant to work diligently for resolving the public greivences in her respective area and work altruistically for the welfare of the people.
Thanking the Party President and Women Wing Provincial President for providing her with a reliable political platform, Shamas-un-Nahaar vowed to strengthen the party cadres at grassroots level—(KAT).
