- NHW-44.
Tomorrow, subject to fair weather and better road condition, only one way traffic shall be allowed from *Jammu towards Srinagar including Ramban-Banihal (local traffic) on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. No vehicle including livestock/fresh perishables shall be allowed in the opposite direction. TCU Jammu shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic.
Note;-The weight bearing capacity of installed bailey bridge is less than 40 metric ton.
- CUT OFF TIMING:
LMVs from *Nagrota (Jammu) 0800 hrs to 1200 hrs.* &
From Jakheni (Udhampur) 0900 hrs to 1300 hrs
No Vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut off timing
- HMVs/Load Carriers
HMVs shall be allowed from Jakheni (Udhampur) towards Srinagar after the LMVs
- SFs Convoy Movement
Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW and narrowness of Bailey bridge. They may ply from Jammu towards Srinagara fter confirming the status of NHW.
NOTE- On 04-02-2021 Thursday , there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/repairing of the NHW.
- MUGHAL ROAD
Mughal road closed due to snow accumulation.
- SSG ROAD
SSG road closed by the J&K Govt. vide DIVCOM Kashmir's order No 400/2020 dated 30-12-2020 till further orders.
- ADVISORY
People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
