Party’s Kashmir Media-Incharge and youth leader Manzoor Bhat in a statement to media said that in view of the Meteorological Department forecast for next two days, the the administration should ensure that people would no problems.
“The the administration should clear the snow from religious places, roads on priority, electricity should be also restored so that people of Kashmir would not face any problems,’” he said.
Bhat urged concerned officers to work out an effective and comprehensive snow clearance plan so that people may not suffer.
He said the administration should ensure greater synergy and coordination between various departments especially those providing essential services.
“They should ensure that people are provided all basic, particularly electricity, water, essential necessities, and emergency services and it should be monitored,” Bhat said.
The youth leader said both Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) and district administration to ensure hassle-free snow clearance, and smooth essential services across the nook and corners of the Srinagar city.
Bhat said the snow clearance machines should be deputed at every place to ensure that people would not face any problems anymore.
He said there should be a helpline in every district, so that in case of any emergency people can call that number and get immediate help.
“People in border areas are facing problems and Baramulla, Kupwara and other concerned DC’s should take appropriate arrangements for snow clearance along vital road in the areas,” Bhat added.
