In view of inclement weather prediction issued by MeT department (rain and snowfall) in J&K for next few days, there are chances of blockade of NHW -44. People are advised to avoid journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW-44.
However, subject to fair weather and better road condition, Light Motor Vehicles (passenger) shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (Commuters are advised to follow the SOP issued by the Govt, to prevent the spread of Covid 19) HMVs/Load Carriers
HMVs shall be allowed from Zig (Qazigund) towards Jammu . SFs Convoy Movement Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW.
They may ply from Srinagar towards Jammu. NOTE:– On 27-11 -2020 Friday, there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/ repairing of the NHWP.
MUGHAL ROAD Mughal road is closed due to snow accumulation. SSG ROAD SSG road is closed due to snow accumulation ADVISORY People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
