Jammu, 15th November 2020 (KLU): On 15-11-2020, a police party of PS Nagrota led by Insp. Mohd. Showket SHO P/S Nagrota while on naka duty at TCP Nagrota , apprehended a person namely Tarsem Kumar S/O Om Parkash R/O Bhour Camp Satwari Jammu on a truck bearing Regd. No. JK02BQ/9544 coming from Srinagar towards Jammu. On search of the vehicle, total of 370 grams opium and 4 Kg Poppy Straw was recovered from his possession. On this, case 423 U/S 8/15/17/NDPS Act got registered in P/S Nagrota. Accused was arrested and vehicle seized. Further investigation of the case is going on.
