Chowdhary Group felicitates "Restaurant & Café" Association members
Prominent Businessman Sheikh Feroz was elected as the President of association while young entrepreneur Babar Chowdhary was elected as the Vice president.
Srinagar: Showkat Ahmad Chowdhary, Chairman of Chowdhary group, one of the leading chain restaurants of the Kashmir valley extended all the support to the newly formed Restaurant & Café Association and felicitated its newly formed executive body.
A simple function was organized by Hatrick Foods at Zukura today where all the top leading hoteliers and restaurant owners were present of Kashmir Valley including Mushtaq Ahmad Chaya, Showkat Ahmad Chowdhary etc .
On the occasion, all the presidents of top tourism and hotel associations of the valley spoke about different issues of the tourism industry as it is badly affected a number of times.
Prominent Businessman Sheikh Feroz was elected as the President of association while young entrepreneur Babar Chowdhary was elected as the Vice president and other elected office bearers include Secretary General, Sheikh Imran, Joint Secretary, Irfan, Treasurer – Majid Dar and Social Media Incharge – Mir Muneeb.
In welcome address, Showkat Chowdhary, the chairman of the Chowdhary group while highlighting the role of all the associations presently working for the upliftment of the tourism section in the valley and shared his vast experience with the members of the association and said, “All the associations associated with tourism industry in the Jammu and Kashmir state should work together for the betterment and upliftment of tourism sector and work jointly to chalk out new plans to be get discussed with state and central ministries.”
“All the possible support will be provided to the newly formed Restaurant and Café association as Sheikh Feroz as he is very vibrant and energetic in this filed and will jointly make efforts to promote tourism industry to new heights,” Showkat Chowdhary said.
Babar Chowdhary, managing director of Chowdhary Group also thanked all distinguished guests and assured that all the best things will be done for the revival of the tourism sector in Jammu and Kashmir state especially the hotel, restaurant and new café shops in the valley by the support of state and central governments and banks as well.
He further said, ”Challenges are everywhere and it increases day by day and we should make our best efforts to make success despite all odds.”
In his address, Sheikh Feroz president of the association promised to work dedicatedly and honestly and work hard to raise the genuine issues of the association from time to time and will hold meetings with concerned government authorities for re-addressal of issues pertaining to the industry.
