Power Supply Affected In North Kashmir Areas

Srinagar, January 23 (KAT): Hundreds of areas across North Kashmir were plunged into darkness following a power supply failure at the Nehalpora Pattan Grid Station. 

PDD officials told Kashmir Abb Tak that the disruption occurred due to the shutdown of the Zainkote–Pattan transmission line, which has severely affected electricity supply in most parts of North Kashmir.

The restoration work is currently under process, and efforts are being made to resume power supply at the earliest, he said.(KAT)
