Srinagar, January 24 (KAT): The security forces conducted a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Lawaypora area of Central Kashmir's Srinagar district on Saturday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Abb Tak said that search operation was launched by the Indian Army, CRPF, and J&K Police based on intelligence inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Security forces conducted thoroughly searches in the area, they checked all the vehicles and sealed all entry and exit points.
Meanwhile, the CASO was still ongoing as of this evening.
