Srinagar, December 17 (KAT): A 5-year-old girl fell victim to a leopard attack in Ghallan Gujjar Basti area of Khiram in South Kashmir's Anantnag district on Wednesday evening.
Reports reaching Kashmir Abb Tak sad that a Sumiya Jan, daughter of Riyaz Ahmad Peswal, a resident of Galan Achdar Khiram was pounced upon and dragged away by the leopard, while she was outside his home.
The family and locals chased the leopard, however before they reached, the wild animal had left the minor girl in a pool of blood.
The minor girl was declared dead by doctors at PHC Srigfwara.(KAT)
