Srinagar, October 20 (KAT): A 50-year-old woman was critically injured after being hit by a car while crossing the road in Dumping Yard Awantipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday evening.
Reports reaching Kashmir Abb Tak said that a Swift car hit the woman who was attempting to cross the road. Locals and police immediately rushed to the spot and shifted her to Public Health Centre (PHC) Awantipora.
The injured has been identified as Mehmooda, wife of Mohammad Yaseen Dar, a resident of Dangerpora Pulwama.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated proceedings into the matter.(KAT)
