Jammu, April 19 (KAT): A man and a woman including 40 sheeps were killed after a lightning strike hit Dugga area of Reasi district on Friday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Abb Tak that the victims were locals who were out in the fields when the lightning struck. The storm, which arrived without warning, triggered panic among residents in the area.
The deceased have been identified as Shahnaz Begum w/o Mukhtar Ahmed and Rashid Ahmed s/o Kalu, both Residents of Dugga.
Meanwhile, police party of Police Post Dhansal has reached the spot.(KAT)
