DSEJ Announce Change In School Timings From May 1

Srinagar, April 28 (KAT): The Director of School Education, Jammu (DSEJ) here on Monday announced change in school timings from May 1.

“Consequent upon the approval conveyed by the competent authority, all government and recognized private schools up to the Higher Secondary Level in the summer zones of Jammu Division. Effective from May 1 to September 30, 2025, schools will operate from 8:00 AM. to 2:00 PM,” read an order by Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ).

The decision aims to provide relief from the summer heat and ensure a better learning environment for students and staff., a copy of which lies with KAT, added. (KAT)
