Jammu, April 19 (KAT): Police on Saturday said that it have foiled one bovine smuggling bid in which 02 bovines were rescued in Udhampur.
In a hideout to KAT, police said that Police team of Police Station Chenani led by its SHO have foiled one bovine smuggling bid in which 02 bovines were rescued which were being illegally transported on foot towards Kashmir valley without any valid permission. Both the bovines were rescued and have been shifted to a safer place.
The police spokesman further stated that in this regards, a case FIR No. 42/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Chenani.
Further investigation into the case is going on, reads the statement.(KAT)
