Kupwara, March 11 (KAT): A 16-year-old boy was injured after being stabbed by another boy in Trehgam area in north Kashmir's Kupwara district on Tuesday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Abb Tak that an altercation broke out between group of boys while playing cricket in Trehgam this afternoon. During the exchange of harsher words, a boy namely Kamran Rayees of Trehgam stabbed with some sharp object the another boy leaving him with injuries.
"The injured boy was immediately taken to SDH Kupwara for treatment, where his overall condition is said to be stable", they said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation.(KAT)
