Handwara, February 06 (KAT): Three labourers were hospitalized with injuries after receiving an electric shock at Magam area in Handwara of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Abb Tak that three labourers were electrocuted at magam Handwara when an iron pole they were erecting, touched a high-tension electric wire overhead.
The victim's were evacuated from the site to GMC Handwara, from where one of them were referred to SKIMS Soura sgr for preferential treatment.
The injured persons has been identified as Azad Ahmad khan Son of Mohammad Saqi Khan, Nissar Ahmad Khan Son of Abdul Aziz Khan and Shahid Ahmad Khan all residents of Bandipora.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.(KAT)
