Ramban, 9 February 2023,(KAT) : A minor boy was killed while another received injuries after a car rolled down into a deep gorge on Kasal-Dhalwas-Sawani link road.
Reports reaching—(Kashmir Abb Tak) that ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02AH-2586 was on its way to Chanderkote from Sawani when the driver lost control over the wheels and the car rolled down into deep gorge on Kasal-Dhalwas-Sawani link road, resulting into on the spot death of a minor boy and injuries to one another.
After getting information, police team rushed to spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals. The injured person was retrieved from the gorge and shifted to District Hospital Ramban, where his condition was stated to be out of danger when last reports came in.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased was also handed over to legal heirs for last rites. The deceased was identified as Imtiaz Ahmed (15), son of Mohd Hanief, a resident of Kasal Sawani (Ramban) whereas the injured was identified as Mohd Rafiq, son of Gul Mohd of Poni Billawat (Ramban).
In this connection, a case under relevant sections was registered at Police Station Chanderkote and investigation started—(KAT)
