Several Petrol & Diesel Stations outlets across Kashmir faces Fuel Shortage


 Srinagar, 16 June 2022,(KAT) : Many petrol & diesel stations across Kashmir are facing a fuel shortage as the oil companies had abruptly curtailed the quote being supplied to the outlets in the region, while as the Fuel refilling stations have rejected reports of fuel shortage and assured that there is no need for any panic.


Reports Reaching―(Kashmir Abb Tak) that due to Software Upgradation of Jammu and Kashmir Bank have already issued a Advisory to its all customers from past few days, we were not able to do RTGS – (Payment system that allows the instant transfer of funds) and companies doesn’t allow credit. It’s just because of that otherwise we have adequate stock available.


“If everything goes well with Jammu and Kashmir Banks funds transfer system in coming days, the issues will be sorted out immediately”, Amjad added.


“People need not to panic as we have adequate supply of petrol/diesel. Once the funds transfer system is operational, the situation will get back to normal,” Amjad added.


Meanwhile, the oil companies including Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) while rejecting the reports of fuel crisis, said that they have adequate supply available and ask people not panic―(KAT)
