Shopian, 11 October 2021,(KAT) : Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in two villages of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday Evening.
A police Officials Told News Agency—(KAT - Kashmir Abb Tak) that two separate operations launched in Shopian this evening on a credible input. Encounter already started at Tulran Shopian. 3-4 Militants trapped.
At Kheripora Shopian another operation launched & a contact expected soon. This is the 3rd encounter in last 24 hrs.
The operations, according to the official, were conducted after the forces were tipped off about the presence of militants in these villages.
