Srinagar, May 09 (KAT): The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a temporary power shutdown in various areas in North Kashmir to facilitate infrastructure upgradation and maintenance work.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the 33KV Pattan-Amargarh Line will remain shut on May 11, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM, power supply effect to Pattan, Palhallan, Hamaray, Hanjiwera, Trauma Hospital, MES Hyderbeigh, Zangam and adjoining areas.
Additionally, the 33KV Shamshipora Tapliine will remain shut on May 11, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM, power supply effect to Shamsipora, Sudsanoo, Turka, Tachloo and adjoining areas.
Authorities have urged residents to make necessary arrangements in advance to mitigate inconvenience during the scheduled outages.(KAT)
