Srinagar, May 21 (KAT): A driver was killed and while another was injured in a road accident in Kharpora Chowk area in Banihal on Thursday early morning.
Reports reaching Kashmir Abb Tak said that a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK01AS-5495 collided with truck bearing registration number PB10AS-1453 at Kharpora Chowk.
In this incident driver was killed and another was injured, who were immediately shifted to SDH Banihal For special treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Bashir Ahmad Kumar, son of Mohammad Ismail Kumar, resident of Pulwama.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.(KAT)
