Srinagar, December 15 (KAT): Amid cloud cover, night temperature recorded slight increase but continued to hover below sub-zero level in Kashmir Valley on Monday.
A meteorological department official here told Kashmir Abb Tak that Srinagar recorded a minimum of 1.9°C against 2.0°C the previous night, the MeT official said.
Qazigund recorded a 0.6°C against 0.8°C on the previous night.
Pahalgam recorded a low of minus 2.2°C against minus 2.4°C on the previous night
Kokernag, also in south Kashmir, recorded a minimum of 2.2°C against minus 0.8°C on the previous night.
Kupwara town recorded a low of minus 1.6°C against 1.2°C on the previous night.
Gulmarg recorded a 1.0°C against 1.4°C on the previous night.
Jammu, he said, recorded a minimum of 11.4°C.
Banihal recorded a low of 3.1°C, Batote 8.0°C and Bhaderwah 4.6°C, he said.
“No significant weather activity is expected till December 26 with possibility of light Rain/Snow at scattered places” he added.(KAT)
