Srinagar, December 11 (KAT) : A CRPF Constable on Thursday shot himself dead in Karpura Grani area of Nishat in Central Kashmir's Srinagar district.
Reports reaching Kashmir Abb Tak said that a trooper from 54th Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Karpura Grani on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Sujeet Kumar a resident of Jharkhand.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and have initiated further investigation.(KAT)
