KPDCL Announced Power Outages In Parts of South Kashmir For Maintenance


Srinagar, October 27 (KAT): The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a temporary power shutdown in various areas in South Kashmir to facilitate infrastructure upgradation and maintenance work.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the 33KV Kanipora-Pinjoora Line will remain shut on October 27, 2025 & October 30, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 03:30 PM, to stabilizing of 22 KV Pinjoora line Phase-II Under UT Capex. This will affect power supply to Town, Arhama, Trenz, Pinjoora, Killora, Imamshaib, Vehil, Nowgam, Reshinagri, Pahnoo, Zawoora, Shirmal and Adjoining areas. 

Additionally, the 33KV Tapliine of Tral-1st line from Nowdal will remain shut on October 27, 2025, October 30, 2025, 03 November, 2025 & 06 November 2025 from 10:00 AM to 03:30 PM, to carryout the works stabilizing/ improvement of 33KV Tral 1st Line by way of replacement of undersized deteriorated wooden PCC ST poles under UT capsex, affecting power supply to Krusen, Tral-I, Payeen, Diver, Pinglish, Chewa, Kaslil, Tral Bala, Bajwani and adjoining areas.

Authorities have urged residents to make necessary arrangements in advance to mitigate inconvenience during the scheduled outages.(KAT)
