Kishtwar, Sep 14: Search operation on Saturday resumed in Kishtwar forests after a gunfight took place between terrorists and security forces in Pingnag area in Naidgam in chatroo on Friday.
A top official told that on Friday encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in forest area of Kishtwar.
He said that exchange of fire took place for two hours following which searches were started that were put on halt during night.
He said that extensive searches have resumed on Saturday in the area to trace out the hiding terrorists.
