Srinagar 03 Sep (KAT) : Gusty winds on Monday afternoon damaged orchards and several structures in south Kashmir's Kulgam district.
Officials told Kashmir Abb Tak that strong winds and hailstorm damaged several structures and orchards in many areas of Kulgam.
They said some damage was even brought to shopkeepers as well by the winds, creating a panic in the area.
After the winds, hailstorm hit many areas in the district including Mohammadpora, Dadarkoot, Khee, Nowpora, Kidder, Poniwah, Zazripora, Pombay, Ganawsargam, etc.
Meanwhile, no loss of life or injuries were reported due to the gusty winds in the district
Tehsildar Kulgam Bilal Ahmad also said that the huge lose of fruits in Mohammadpora areas of Kulgam District (KAT)
