August 13: To express solidarity and to perceive the wellbeing of the families of Police Martyrs, senior officers today visited these families in Anantnag, Srinagar & Awantipora.
In Anantnag, Police paid heartfelt visits to the families of Police Martyrs residing within the jurisdictions of PS Mattan, PS Srigufwara, and Police Post D.K. Pora. SP Hqrs Anantnag, accompanied by SHO Mattan, visited the homes of martyrs' families, distributing sweets and gifts to the next of kin (NOKs). Similarly, SHO Srigufwara and DO D.K. Pora also visited the families of Police martyrs, offering their condolences. Similarly, in Awantipora, SSP Awantipora Ajaz Ahmed Zargar-JKPS accompanied by Addl SP Awantipora Rashid Yunus and SDPO Pampore visited Police martyr families at village Dogripora Awantipora and Ladhoo Pampore.
Meanwhile, Police in Srinagar also visited the families of Martyred Police Personnel. During the visit, Police officers interacted with the families, assured them of every possible help and lauded the role played by their loved ones for the nation. Besides, they emphasised upon the NOKs of Police Martyr to consider J&K Police as their own family.
During these visits, the officers reassured the families that the Police Department stands firmly with them and remains committed to provide any assistance they may require.
